Molisc Content Delivery

MOLISC GATEWAY SERVER PLATFORM (MGSP) is an integrated solution that can access, retrieve and push the information to and from mobile and web applications. MGSP supports iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Symbian and Windows Mobile OS based applications.

MOLISC Gateway Server Platform consists of four layers of structure:

  • Connection Services
  • Data Services
  • Monitoring Services
  • Channel Services

  1. MGSP: Connection Services
    This layer is designed to serve the request and push services to the mobile client. The connection services are the mobile client session management to serve and keep track the request from the smart mobile client (iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Symbian OS).

    The connection service is designed to expose the HTTP/Socket protocol connection for the Infindo client application to all level of consumer and enterprise services.

  2. MGSP: Data Services
    This layer is designed to handle data storing and retrieving from channel services layer and file handling from external data provider. For instance, remote xml feeds data.

    Services offered in this layer are:
    Object Relational Mapping
    Data Retrieving and Storing
    File Analyzer and Handler

  3. MGSP: Monitoring Services
    This is the interface to monitor the different real-time running services on the data event.

    This module is designed in the web interface for convenience monitoring on any web browser. This core service is to monitor MGSP channel services activity, active and inactive mobile client session and real-time statistic graphical report.

  4. MGSP: Channel Services
    This layer is designed to handle the request from connection services layer and data handling from data services layer. For instance, this channel will be able to analyze the xml feeds performance and delivery from data services layer.

MGSP is capable of providing the following integrated channel of services.

  • Push Content Channel
    This is the signalling service in which incoming information could be send to user immediately. Data source like live sports data (Push Sports), email notification (Push Email) or text alert (Push IOD) could be delivered to the appropriate destination using our real time Push channel.

  • IM Proxy Channel
    IM Proxy channel provides the integration capability with existing commonly used IM chatting service like MSN, Yahoo!, GoogleTalk, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, QQ, AIM and Jabber. Mobile users on mobile IM chatting client can easily use a single login for multiple network access simultaneously.

  • Blog Channel
    Blog feature for users to share their information in text, image, audio and video with other members of a community service. This channel consists of mobile client integration to view the content on the mobile phone.

  • Location Based Channel
    To manage the location based information for storing, searching and identification purpose. The source of location information can be extracted from an external GPS device (e.g. mobile phone with GPS built-in and standalone GPS device), or by integrating with 3rd party location based information like Telco's cell information. Various location based services can be provided with this channel like social networking and mobile dating service.

  • Media Channel
    Multimedia Sharing Engine provides shared feature capable for sharing multimedia documents like images, audio and video. It provides a real time video streaming to client component. It consists of a multimedia 11 sharing engine at the server end to manage the uploaded document and a searching capability.

  • VOIP/SIP Channel
    This service allows the communication gateway server to enables user to carry voice traffic over an IP network. VOIP is a low cost approach but with high quality calling service; this service is to initiate the connection from the caller, signalling the incoming call to the receiver and finally establishing the connection between the caller and the receiver. Different structures of implemetation are available for VOIP/SIP services including SMS call back and ringback service.

  • M-Commerce Channel
    This service provides the online and mobile shopping feature; it refers to any transaction with monetary value that is conducted via a mobile telecommunications network. User can buy and sell items either on the web or mobile. This service consist of variety of the E-Commerce component such as mobile bidding, product catalog inventory, online and billing transaction.

  • Advertisement Network Channel
    This service will focus on many different patterns of mobile advertising, including sending advertisements to clients' mobile phones through service providers and embedding graphical advertisements on mobile and web pages.

  • Third Party Integration Channel
    This service provides the API integration capability with 3rd party service provider like Facebook, MySpace, Friendster, Fring and so on in order to perform their existing available service with any new add-on module.
